Meet the Greenville South Carolina Rock Goddess Contingent! This group is super active whether it’s raising money for local and national nonprofits like National Association for Mental Illness (NAMI) Greenville, the Greenville Rouge Ball to raise funds for the treatment of eating disorders, or raise funds for local community members who need our help. Rock Goddess Greenville also plays for corporate events and private parties, including weddings. You can also catch us on occasion in our favorite Greenville SC rock venues! or to book.

Meet The Band
Shamini Jain
Thanks to formula feeding and its resulting colic, Shamini has been wailing since birth! Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Shamini found her vocal heroes in Janis Joplin, Robert Plant, and Axl Rose. In high school, she trained as a coloratura soprano and in musical theater, continuing into her early twenties in productions throughout New York City. Over the last decade, she’s become known in the Southern California rock scene for her vocal power, range, and theatrical flair — first as the founding singer of San Diego’s infamous Guns N’ Roses tribute band Nuns N Moses (famously featured on Jeopardy!), and then as the founding singer of San Diego’s long-running Iron Maiden tribute band, Up The Irons.
Her original album, Kaliyuga Blues, fuses 90s rock, metal, and mantra influences, and is available on all streaming platforms and on CD at Tower Records. She’s performed both her original music and tribute projects at iconic venues including LA’s Viper Room, House of Blues, and Music Box San Diego.
Shamini co-founded Rock Goddess in San Diego to uplift women in rock, and is thrilled to see the Rock Goddess collective growing across the country, including Rock Goddess Greenville, where she’s pleased to offer lead vocals along with Brittni Blank and Tipton Jones.
When she’s not singing her heart out, Shamini researches and teaches the science of healing, consciousness, and energetic self-empowerment — including the liberating power of the human voice.
Brittni Blank
Brittni Blank is a local singer and songwriter based in Greenville, South Carolina, known for her soulful vocals and heartfelt original music. She is an active member of the Upstate music community, performing at various venues and events, including hosting her own open mic nights to support local talent.
Brittni is known for a vocal style that is both heartfelt and versatile, performing a mix of original songs and covers. Her original music is introspective, with lyrics focusing on themes of power, confidence, and personal stories. Her song "Cartwheels" is available on streaming platforms.
Brittni's live performances are intimate and engaging. She is a featured artist at various local shows, such as those organized by Sofar Greenville, and has performed at events like "Jazz on The Alley", and more. Beyond performing, she actively contributes to the local music scene by hosting open mic nights, providing a platform for emerging artists to share their work.
Tipton Jones
Tipton Jones is a singer/songwriter and musician from the upstate of South Carolina. She's been playing music all over the NE/SE with various bands and musical collaborations for over twenty five years. After a long hiatus to concentrate on her visual art career she found that she really missed making music on a regular basis. About 10 years ago she decided to get back into the local music scene and has hit the ground running.
Tipton plays and teaches eight different instruments at Stokes Music Studios in Greer, SC and does session work when she can. She's also a frequent musician in several Upstate SC bands as well as working on her own solo projects. She’s thrilled to offer her musical prowess as a guitarist, keyboardist and singer to Rock Goddess Greenville.
